Polyana - our PolioPlus Pig - disappeared from the Club's Changeover dinner on 1st July. Nobody seemed to know where the pig, which at that time contained $110 in donations, had gone.

We searched high and low - in all the usual "pig" places, but to no avail.

Just when we thought all was lost, President Eric - visiting Townsville in District 9550 for a Rotary Foundation presentation - was surprised to have Polyana returned.

The PolioPlus pig - which originally contained $110 - had mysteriously had the amount of donation doubled PLUS a further $56 in sundry donations was received.

Polyana's first adventure had added $166 to the PolioPlus donations and ended with a special welcome by the Club members at the next Club meeting.
